I am also a college student.  I lost everything and even had my car reposessed while I was at school one day!  I went six months without a car then I took out an extra student loan of $4000 and bought a car with that money.  It is still running and I haven't had any major trouble with it at all.  Hope this helps. and good luck

Does anyone on here get any feedback or help?!!!  I am in an emergency myself.  I'm a full time nursing student and I have two teenage children.  One with disabilities and the only money we get is approx. $400 a month for his disability check.  I get no child support for either of them and can't afford a lawyer.  I have found a house to rent and I do have the deposit but I need help with rent.  The waiting list for section 8 is 2-3 years long.  I don't have that long!  Who does?!  I am in an abusive relationship and he has beat me twice already.  I don't want to stick around for a third time.  I need help.  The lady with the rental house said she would help me do whatever it takes on her part to get me in the house.  Does anyone know if I found the house and she were willing to participate in the section 8 voucher program if they would let me complete the process and not have to be put on a waiting list?  Please somebody help me!
